DAYS 23 & 24: I don't feel like it
I didn't feel like exercising yesterday... so I didn't.
It was a long day & I had to "whip up" a poodle skirt for my daughter who is having a 50's day at school tomorrow. "Whipping up" was 1 hour going to the store & back, and at least another hour making/sewing it - no pattern, mind you.
The house looked pretty disastrous when I was done... dishes spilling over, fabric all over the place - sewing machine out, stuff all over the place. The complete opposite of the day before... I was falling asleep sitting up, when I finally got up & went to bed. I BARELY had enough energy to make lunches...
It's REALLY hard to get back into exercising, after you take a break (intended or not), and is very daunting -- dreading a 50-60 (or more) minute exercise session. I STILL don't like exercising. I thought maybe if I broke it down into four 15 minute segments, it would be easier - but I think it would just be more of a hassle.
So, here is how it works: The 50-60(ish) minute sessions are usually broken up into 2 routines/sets. There are 5 that I do. Bum Bum (35 min) - Tummy Tuck (20 min) - Cardio Axe (30 min) - High & Tight (35 min) - Sculpt (50 min). For my body type, it's kind of a mix and match. It says Variety is the key to long term success.
I HATE the Sculpt video. It basically works out your arms & back which are the two areas I do NOT have issues with -- until I do the Sculpt session. It's too long and makes my body hurt in a bad way. So I think these next 4 1/2 weeks are going to be exercising 1 session each day (with the 4 remaining exercises). 20-35 min is WAY more doable, and not so daunting. As long as I am doing a variety, I think I'll be okay.
Today, I did Cardio Axe (30 min) - NO BIG DEAL! And what a relief when I was done.
The next few Days will be:
Bum Bum
Tummy Tuck
High & Tight
and we'll see how that goes.
I think after this whole Brazilian Buttlift thing, I'll adopt this "Lazy Girl's Workout". Obviously she's lazy... she doesn't even spell LAZY right. :)
